Mac The Kanga
Mac the Kanga is one of a kind.
This boat was the start of the Designer era for houseboats on Lake Eildon check out the links below to see what a star she was. Built in 2013 by Anchorage Houseboats it was well ahead of its time. This four bedroom and two-bathroom luxury hotel is sure to impress any buyer looking for something unique that oozes architectural finishes and designer style with furniture, floor rugs and linen only few of us dream of. There is no plaster on this boat it’s all timber throughout. The ground floor starts with the wheelhouse and a couch to keep the Master of the Vessel company getting to your destination. The two Pac galley kitchen has plenty of storage, filtered water, marble benchtops, undermount kitchen sink, integrated dishwasher, Meile fridge, stainless steel oven, four burner cooktop and cylinder range hood that makes a statement. Off through a solid timber door is the master suite including double robe, air conditioning and ensuite with double vanity, toilet and fully tiled shower. Timber floors stretch across the ground with underfloor storage, state of the art electronics including surround sound, satellite TV and plenty of seating space. Let’s not forget the electric blinds!
As you go up the solid timber staircase the rear lounge area with full air conditioning has a second kitchenette with sink, Fisher and Paykel dish drawer dishwasher, more storage, and additional fridge and freezer to make sure no one stays thirsty on the first floor. The hallway leads to two further Queen bedrooms with storage and a further bunk room all with sold timber doors and skylight to the hallway above makes a statement. The bathroom with vanity, shower and toilet and Miele washing machine and separate dryer concealed behind doors keeps the laundry out of mind.
Outside the oversized gang plank, rear electric blind allows for long shaded afternoons on the hydraulic duckboard. The beautiful cedar panels to the eaves and top floor add a touch of class and continuing the theme of timber throughout and an area for the kids or adults to escape on those warm lake nights.
Mac is about to be slipped for her GMW check of pontoons, which will include a full repaint of pontoons, motor and leg service plus a few minor tidy ups. It may be your chance to add your finishing touches or simply walk straight on board once done for hassle free boating with nothing to spend.
